I'm currently sitting in the Charlotte, NC Airport waiting out a three hour layover after an amazing weekend in Savannah, GA with my sisters, mom, and gma. Have you been to Savannah? It's one of my favorites - history and design co-mingling in the most charming way!
Before heading out on vacation I had the excitement of spotting a small blurb about one of my designs in the most recent issue of HGTV Magazine!
They'd reached out to me a couple months back about including an image of the dining room I'd designed for the Whealys, and then a few months later about the entryway I'd designed for the Davies family. After answering questions on both spaces, I actually kind of forgot about it all and wasn't sure when, or even if, the images would be featured.
Sure enough, in the October 2016, 5th Anniversary Issue, positioned among work from some of the other bloggers I'm most inspired by, is an image of Traci's vibrant red door!
I thought that's where the excitement ended, because I still had yet to read through the magazine. But long flights are perfect for that. Up in the air I casually flipped through each colorful page, then spotted the feature on the Whealys! What a thrill!
Thanks so much HGTV Magazine! It's an honor to find my work showcased in your pages with other brilliant color-loving designs!
